Our Story - 60 Years and Growing
Troy L. Bowen, Sr. and Harold L. Watson established Bowen & Watson, Inc. in 1956. Both men had worked in the construction industry all their lives before joining to form what has become one of the oldest and largest general contractors in Northeast Georgia.
Working as partners with their father since 1982, Kevin and Keith Watson now own and operate the firm. In 2013, Drew Watson became a partner in the business his grandfather co-founded over 55 years earlier, bringing in a third generation of family leadership.

Our business philosophy revolves around the belief that construction is a people business. To us, this means the quality of relationships and integrity in our actions is just as important as the quality and structural integrity of the buildings we construct.
Our Executive Leadership
Kevin has always believed the success of the firm, co- founded by his father, depends on the quality and performance of its people. He is passionate about connecting the members of the firm with the right project opportunities while continuing a culture of enthusiasm, devotion, creativity and hard work which result in the Bowen & Watson experience. Kevin joined Bowen & Watson as a Project Manager in 1982 and was named President in 1995 and CEO in 2013.
Keith is an advocate for the client, recognizing that the best solutions explore the full gamut of possibilities while keeping the client’s vision and needs at the forefront. Keith joined the firm, co-founded by his father, as a Project Manager in 1980 and now serves as Chairman. He has taken part in creating estimating, pre-construction and corporate operation processes that continue to serve as a standard for the company today.
Since joining the firm in 2009, Drew has worked diligently in all phases of construction: preconstruction and estimating and project operation and management. Drew joined his father, Keith, and Uncle, Kevin, as a shareholder in 2013 and as President, is an integral member of the firm’s management team. Drew provides owner oversight to projects, ensuring adequate home office resources are made available to the project staff during preconstruction and construction phases.
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION
Dustin Duncan joined the firm in 2019 bringing with him 15 years of construction project leadership experience. Dustin is an effective team leader and is dedicated to mentoring Project Managers and Field Supervisors and ensuring our team provides exceptional results for our clients. As Project Executive, Dustin’s role is to provide effective leadership for an incredible owner experience. He builds relationships with clients and designers through creative solutions, responsiveness and understanding their visions.
